hi i'm from mexico so I speak spanish, in my country we use "aqui" to say HERE but this word is used when you are in the place; in contrast, "por aquí" means that you are near for the place that you want to go or that something is near to that place, "por aquí" is used to mention that you are almost in the place but no yet!!!!! i hope this help you ale
