First sentence means you are meeting someone on regular basic. (?) Second one indicates you are only going to meet that person once.(?) I'm also curious about the difference, hope someone smarter will be able to explain :)

Malwina is correct. But for all practical purposes, they mean the same. If there is a broader context we could be sure. But as standalone sentences, they are interchangeable.
