What does the writer mean in this following expression?
I'm reading a book about affirmations and theirs importance to us. The writer write that "When you write an affirmation you construct the sentence in first person, present tense, describing the end result you desire as if it were true today". And then, he write:
"Remember, our affirmations are intended to bring about a change in our behavior. The affirmation “I look good and feel good at ___ pounds” does not give us permission to move our bed next to the refrigerator!"
What does the writer mean in the expression "give us permission to move our bed next to the refrigerator"? Thank you!

It means that it isn't OK to overeat. 'Move your bed next to the refrigerator' is an exaggerated way of saying that the person will spend all night eating.
