Is it a common use to put the word 'do' after the noun 'share options and profit-sharing'?
What the report did conclude though, was that money, especially performance-related pay, does increase commitment, as *do* share options and profit-sharing.

It is common and acceptable to put the "do" either before or after "share options and profit sharing."
There could be a slight difference in use. Putting "as do NOUN" may be more common when you are saying two things are the same. But writing "as NOUN do" may be more common when saying two things are different. Examples:
1. Getting exercise promotes good health, as do a good diet and getting enough sleep.
2. Getting a suntan does not promote health, as a good diet and getting enough sleep do.
If you put "do" at the end when talking about two things being the same, you can add "also" to reinforce the idea of sameness: "as share options and profit-sharing ALSO do."

Hi, no it's not unless it's a question. In this case they used do because it emphasizes and it's inversion. as profits DO. correct or AS DO profist inversion(it means the same as the former sentence) Many writers prefer to use inversion when they use DO.. so the sentence basically measn as profits INCREASE commitment too(we use do to avoid repetition also). bye
