РЕН ТВ это сравнительно "желтый" канал с документальным контентом, там много откровенно фриковских (freaky) программ. Он ориентирован на не самую интеллектуальную аудиторию, на публику, которая верит во всякие странные вещи вроде визитов инопланетян в доисторическое время.

The chief character of that channel is Сергей Дружко who ran famous TV-programms Фантастические истории, Необъяснимо, но факт. Now he has own channel on youtube druzhko show.

That's a TV channel that used to specialise in showing people saying ridiculous antiscientific nonsense with straight faces (I'm not sure if any of these people believed in what they were saying, but sometimes it looked like they are real adherents of these absurd beliefs). Some UFO stuff, telegony theory, Nostradamus versus Baba Vanga etc. And there were normal programmes as well which was the most amusing thing about this channel. Just imagine a very serious TV programme in which members of the Flat Earth Society discuss their theory - and an astronomy documentary right after this discussion. It created an unforgettable contrast. Personally, I think it was almost ingenious. I wonder if this channel is still the same... You can just google "директор РенТВ" (which is "РенТВ director") and most of the pictures related will be on the same old topic of the director's "true identity".

I used to watch that channel. There was such interesting erotic movies :) That's it what I know :)
