What kind of English does Steve Harvey speak? I sometimes watch clips from Steve Harvey shows and I feel that his English is random, am I right? Or this is a special kind of English?

America is filled with different accents, there isn't just one. Each region has an accent as well as sub-regions. As in most languages, American English has informal/slang/colloquial varieties that are used.
