I'm applying for something called OINP. Every new grad with a master's or PHD qualify for that OINP. However, they only accept 6000 people to apply annually. I want to emphasize the limit of 6000 but i dont know how to express that.
Can I say. ONIP has a litmit of 6000 people to apply? or ONIP has a limit of 6000 quota?Is the "quota" the right word here?

Next I want to say....because of limit of 6000 quota, people have to compete over each other. In this sentence, I would like to express a situation that people have to go to the website as fast as possible to get a quota....is it a quota right word here??
