Is there a difference between these two sentences? (得 & 地)
I'm not entirely sure 得 and 地 are used in this way, but to my knowledge 地 is used when the adverb comes before the verb, and 得 is used when the adverb comes after the verb.
My question is: Is there a difference in meaning between these two sentences?
漂亮地字写。
字写得漂亮。

This is really important, I find it hard to believe that some people don't think it is.
First of all, read this: https://www.chineseboost.com/grammar/de-grammar-summary/
地 is used when you use an adverb, it's like I ____ly verb sth
我要快快地看一下這篇新聞文章 - I'm going to quickly read this news article
我要充分地利用這個機會 - I want to fully use this opportunity
不要草草地做出決定 - Don't be rash in making decisions
得 is used after the verb, and is a comment on the verb (how someone did it).
我考得很好 - I did well in the exam
你跑得可快 - you run/ran quickly
你的中文說得很好 - you speak Chinese well (lit. your Chinese is spoken well)
This might be hard to differentiate now, but it gets easier.
If you want to comment on someone's handwriting, it is most natural to say 你的字寫得很漂亮/很秀麗

be honest , whatever you use "地” or "得”,nobody will care about that unless if you take the professional Chinese test.
Even as a Chinese i also don't know how to use them correctly every time. If you try to know much about that , you will get confused more .there is something from the nature or culture like that , as a foreigner , just skip it, wont be a big problem

1.漂亮地字写。
漂亮地写字。
This 漂亮 is not emphasizing the writing but the act of writing.
Eg.这里这么吵,我不能安静地写字。
By the way, even 漂亮地写字 is correct in grammar, but it doesn't fit the idiomatic expression.
2.字写得漂亮
This 漂亮 is emphasizing the writing.
