Is "널 좋아해" appropriate for a confession?
I have romantic feelings for someone I've known for a few weeks. I'm friendly with him, we're both rather comfortable with each other, but not extremely close friends (due to a slight language barrier).
We are peers, but he is, using Korean age system, a year older than me. Is "널 좋아해" (neol joh-ahae) appropriate? I don't want to come on too strong despite my strong feelings (as in I don't want to accidentally say I love him), but also I don't know if this refers properly to my type of feelings (as in I don't want to confuse him and accidentally not convey my feelings to be romantic). I also don't know if this is too stiff or too casual.
Clear explanations would be appreciated as this is very important to me.

If I'd say, I'll go 좋아해요.
사귀자 is more like We're a couple from now on (So we are exclusive)

if he's a year older than you, call him 오빠. that really gets Korean dudes going
so, 난 오빠를 너무 좋아해(요)
or
난 오빠 너무 좋아(요)
they both mean essentially the same thing.
alternatively you could say
오빠, 우리 사귀자
오빠, 우리 사귀어요
'let's date' in two formality registers

I think perhaps 반하다 (to fall for) can be used.
