It's not terribly wrong but the use of 'consider' is often quite formal, especially when you say 'consider the opportunity to do something' For example- I hope you will consider this opportunity to become a member of our company. For what you want to say you need intimate or informal words, really. I would perhaps say... 'I would really like you to be my girlfriend' HOWEVER: -One does not really ask someone to be their boy/girlfriend. You ask them on a date ("Would you like to go on a date/ go out for dinner?") and the boyfriend/girlfriend thing is then obvious. -It can be embarrassing if the other person says no, so even native speakers of English can spend DAYS thinking of the right way to ask this question. So don't worry if you struggle on this!

You might also want to say: 1) ''I wish you would consider taking me as your girlfriend''. 2) ''I wish you would grant me the chance / opportunity of being your girlfriend''. Hope that helps!
