"Set" means determine or implement.
"Standards" means values or principles that guide you.

In this sentence, the VERB "to set" means "to establish", whereas the NOUN "standard" means the level of quality or principle you want to have yourself :)

Hi, I think that "set" means to plan how achieve your goal and "standard" is the goal that you want achieve by yourself and for yourself
