The word "stinky" is usually associated with UNPLEASANT smells like rotting garbage.
For example, someone might say, "that garbage reeks! it is very stinky!".
The word "smelly" is similar but might be used for STRONG smells that are not as "foul".
For example, her perfume was very "smelly" means her perfume was powerful and strong.
Garlic is also "smelly" but not unpleasant to all people.
Hope this is helpful.

No difference between smelly and stinky. To me, smelly is more common and stinky sounds more childish.

Smelly is something that has a strong or unpleasant smell. Sticky is something with adherent texture, something that sticks to your fingers, for an example: a melted candy bar, if you touch it, it sticks to your fingers.
I hope this helps! :)
