Je voudrais savoir si BREF est une mot formale ou informale? Je trouve que c'est plutôt formal, n'est pas?

« Bref » adjectif : « un épisode très bref » (contraire de « long »)
« Bref » adverbe : « Il fait du foot, du basket, de la natation... bref il aime le sport »
Je pense que votre question concerne l’adverbe. Il est plutôt informel. Plus exactement, il appartient au registre oral.
