Word for "problematic solution"
Hello!
I remember way back learning about a Japanese word that means "a solution that is problematic." I remember seeing whole books about products folks would create to show how a solution to a problem may bring its own problems. For example, trying to put mops on the paws of cats as a way to try to clean your floor (sounds like a good idea until you realize the cat is not going to cooperate!)

Anybody remember this? Any pointers on the word I'm looking for?
