Co to jest in Polish = both - What is this or Wath is that. In English there is a difference between asking about something in depend of distance between you and that item. In Polish we don't have something like that. OK, in Polish this = to and that = tamto. But if you're asking - What is this/that? in Polish you're ALLWAYS asking Co to jest? or just shortly Co to?
