They are communicating at a roller rink.

"Grab some wood there, bub. Daddy and his friends have been drinking, and we're gonna keep on drinking until we each uncover repressed memories of sexual abuse by a trusted religious official."

a trusted religious official - any representative of the church who was supposed to be trustworthy. I suppose there is no second hidden meaning. 
About "grab wood"  part nothing was found.

Ooooh, Family Guy. Always hilarious.

"Grab some wood there, bub" is an extremely informal way of saying "have a seat, buddy".

I *think* it's probably a hockey term referring to the wood of a bench (which the players are sitting on while they wait to play).

The trusted religious official part is a reference to the catholic priest abuse of boys.

So he's basically saying "Wait for a while, Meg. We're going to keep drinking until we remember buried memories of getting sexually molested by a priest."

Though how he said is is MUCH funnier and horribly dark.
