The meaning of "beyond high difinition"
Blu-Ray discs have an inscription "beyond high definition". Why there is "beyond"?
"Beyond" means:
beyond doubt = without doubt
beyond hope = without hope, hopeless
so, beyond means "without"
Does the inscription mean "without high definition" ? :))

Answer

It means 'more than' high definition. More or better than something. Exceeding a standard (/a definition).

Answer

Hi, Andrew. I created a graphic illustration for "beyond". It may help to SEE what "beyond" means, and how you thought it meant "without":
