What does “desho” mean in Japanese?
I sometimes hear people saying this almost as if to ask if what they said is correct. However, I’m not sure🤷♀️

It's kind of a "isn't it" ending to a statement. Like "right?" is in English.

@Ueda Thank you! And yes, I do live in the U.S. It’s a rather diverse country so I know a few Japanese speakers.
