Oui. Tous des deux sont prononcés [mɛʁ]. Quand j’ai un doubt, je cherche dans le dictionnaire pour l’orthographe phonétique.

Il y un troisième mot qui a une prononciation identique ; le maire (the mayor).

Je ne suis pas français, mais je crois que ces deux mots se prononcent de la même façon, c'est-à-dire, ils ont la même prononciation.
