The people usually say Russian is difficult, but I think it's more because you'll be in front a new alphabet. But it doesn't imply it's impossible. Every language has its own difficult. Spanish, for example, is very difficult for me. It's because it looks to be similar to Portuguese (latin languages), but there are many differences between both. No mention to verbs conjugation, applications of adjectives, nouns et cetera. Thus don't be affraid to get into your choice. Studying hard, difficulties disappear. Good luck!
