What's your recommendation/suggestion for Italian dictionary?
Which one would be a better choice -- an English-Italian dictionary or an Italian-Italian dictionary? And do you have any recommendation? I am gonna buy one for my Italian learning. So far I only use on-line dictionary. Thank you very much!Thank you all! I have hard time picking up the best answer, since everyone offered me something useful.

Of course "Zanichelli - Il Ragazzini" with full CD-Rom. You can easily find it in any online bookstore, it seems that it's in tons of peer-to-peer/sharing/appz websites if you want to try before you buy!
It is very complete, but has the pronunciation only for english words...
Here an online dictionary absolutely free and with full phoneme and many pronunciation for the words included:

I would suggest you a "your mother tongue - italian" dictionary so that you can easily understand all the little differences in the meanings of the words.

This is a difficult question because you did not say nothing about your level in Italian language.
In my opinion an Italian dictionary could be a wrong choice for beginners, as it gives too much information for any single word.
I suggest you to get a English-Italian dictionary.
my 2 cents
