have + pp (past participle) = Present Perfect = Something you did in the past, but you don't tell the exact time in the past; or something that you did in the past and is important for now.
A: Here. Have some pizza.
B: No thank you. I have eaten already.
has/ have been + PP = Present Perfect Tense, Passive Voice: This is the same tense as above, but the Subject did not do the verb (=passive voice).
"The man has been arrested. Now we are all safe."
had + PP = Past Perfect: Something happened in the past before another past action.
"The servants had removed the food before all of the guests arrived."
had been +PP = Past perfect tense, passive voice: Same as above -- the subject is not the doer of the verb; it receives the action.
was/were + pp = Simple Past Tense, Passive Voice: The action finished in the past; the subject did not do the action--it received the action.
"At 9:00 pm, all of the food was removed from the table."
"The food had been removed before all of the guests arrived."
