Doofy Someone how acts really goofy and does stupid, idiotic things. You look at them and want to say DOH! and smack your forhead. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=doofy ........................................... Goofy (informal) silly; stupid: a goofy grin

I'd never heard of "moofy" before, and "doofy" I would guess means dumb (as in dufus). Goofy - stupid in a comical way - is of course well known. The problem is, just because a word "has a definition" (and people seem keen to make up any definition) it is no guarantee that the word is even commonly known.
