Look around the world, love is the topic that people talk about most. Love not only can encourage people to achieve their goals,but also can hurt people badly. The storys about love always inspirit people to get their own happiness. So, there are many festivals created to celebrate love. February 14th is well known to celebrate love around the world, but lunar July 7th is the special day for Chinese people to review the greateast love story happened throughout the whole Chinese history. Once upon a time, a beautiful fairy called Qixiannv who lived in the heaven came down to the world for playing without permisssion.She met a handsome man called Niulang who fed his cattle by a river everyday. Then they fell in love with each other. The girl stayed in the world and didn't want to go back heaven again. She just wanted to spend his rest life with Niulang. Her monther, the queen in the heaven got angry with her and punished her by creating a river in the sky to stop her go back world. Then the queen was moved by their love, and made a bridge with a lot of magpies on lunar July 7th every year. The couples meet each other on the bridges only on that day. It sounds really touched! In fact, on that day, the Lyra and the Aquila can be seen clearly in the sky. The girl represents the brightest star in the Lyra, the man represents the brightest star in the Aquila, and between them is the Galaxy(the river). So, ancient people hoped they could get together on that day which also represented they could have their own sweet love.
