I attended my relative’s wedding. It was my first time at a wedding, so it was a really good experience. My relative married a French person, so there were many French guests at the venue, and I think I was able to have/engage in a little bit of a cultural exchange. I realized that French is completely different from English and it seems like a difficult language (to learn). I thought it would be really fun if I could actually speak it. Everyone was kind and wonderful. Since it was a Shinto-style ceremony, the kimonos were very beautiful. I thought it was amazing that Japanese culture can be shared with many people from different countries. At the same time, I became curious about what a French wedding would be/look like. I think cultural differences are interesting and there’s so much to learn from them. It also made me want to visit France. The weather was a bit bad, but I had a really great time.
