We can learn a lot about our elders, they are an incredible source of knowledge and are the testimonies of a past where war and poverty were striking on society. From all those bad experiences they have learnt how to react to difficulties and for this reason they are stronger than our generation because they adapt better to changes. I personally enjoy talking to my grandmother because she has a popular wisdom that in all its simplicity is the essence of reality. I love listening about the war period where she and her sister spent their days sewing and walking in the harbour where their father worked as a fisherman. I imagine those moments in black and white colours, so authentic and genuine, it resembled the atmosphere of the old movies or the novels of some years ago. The past is our treasure, we should treasure it and use it as a source of wisdom.
