And if you like your teacher, you will be more motivated to keep taking lessons. ✅Tip #2: choose a teacher who will let you do most of the talking. My students tell me that some italki teachers talk too much. This is bad, because the great strength of italki is that it gives you the opportunity to practice talking with a native speaker. Make sure you find a teacher who likes to listen and who encourages you talk. ✅Tip #3: Take lots of classes. A research team did a study to determine how effective italki classes are.
