**Great Names of Portuguese Language** - Music

Hi, guys!!
I've created the same topic in Portuguese, but I think it's too hard for everybody to understand, so I'm creating it again, in English.
Here you have two great female singers of Portuguese language.

PORTUGUESE FROM PORTUGAL - Amália Rodrigues (1920 - 1999) - Cheira a Lisboa
Amália could speak 5 languages and is one of the most beautiful portugueses voices (for me she's THE QUEEN of Fado - the Portuguese traditional music).
This song is called "Cheira a Lisboa" (something like "Smells like Lisbon").
If you have ever been to Lisbon and have felt in love with the city, you will love the song!

PORTUGUESE FROM BRAZIL - Maria Bethania (1946-) - Yemanjá, Rainha do Mar / O Marujo Português
One of the greatest brazilian female singers, Maria Bethania is also one of the people who work and explore the most the part of brazilian culture made by portuguese, africans and indians origins.
These songs are about Yemanjá, the goddess of Seas, and a portuguese sailor and its charms ;)

You can notice the difference of accents, like the ladies were speaking different languages.

Immer das gleiche... Ich mache die gleiche Fehler immer. Wie kann mann "I've been to Germany for a year" oder "I lived in Germany in 2012" sagen? Es gibt ein Satz, dass nicht "Ich war in Deutschland" ist. Ich weiss, dass es ein ganzes einfaches Satz ist, aber ich sage immer falsch. Bitte, korrigieren sie mich! Danke sehr!!

Comienzando el año.... Hay una broma en Brasil, en la cual dicen que el año solo comienza después del Carnaval. Para 2014, muchas personas estan haciendo otra broma: el año solo empezará em 2015! Si el Carnaval ya se fué, quedamos esperando la Copa del Mundo en Julio y las elecciones para Presidente en Octubre. No sé como se puede decirlo en Español, pero si "toda broma lleva un poquito de verdad", no es impossible que el pueblo brasilleño se olvide de los problemas, de lo que realmente deberia de ser importante, para se "molestar" con los juegos, y no con lo que se pasa en el país. Después de Agosto, los políticos tendrán algunos meses para lograr votos, y todo el "pan y circo" hecho hasta entonces podrá mostrarnos si seguimos viviendo como en Roma todavía.

Ich vermisse Deutschland! Es ist komisch, aber ich vermisse Deutschland sehr. Wann ich dort war, es war mir immer kalt, die Stadt war ein bisschen viel zu klein für mich und ich hatte nicht zu tun. Aber jetzt, dass ich nicht mehr dort bin, ich will die Kinder sehen (ich war Aupair mädchen), ich will mit dem Zug fahren (wir haben nicht zu vielen Zugen in Brasilien) und ich will durch das Land reisen. Ich hätte jeden Tag Deutsch sprechen sollen, aber ich habe noch nicht jemand gefunden, das mit mir Deutsch sprechen kann. Es ist gut, dass ich meine Schreibt übungen kann.

Un nuevo trabajo es un nuevo camiño! Hoy estoy en mis anotaciones para hablar de nuevos camiños! Cuando buscamos a un nuevo trabajo, porque queremos condiciones mejores de vida, o porque no tenemos trabajo algun, nosotros podemos hacer nuevos camiños. Yo he chegado de Alemaña, donde he vivido por un año, y es que me encuentro muy tristoña y aburrida porque no he encuentrado un nuevo trabajo. Aunque no sea muy fácil y yo tenga que esperar meses y meses, no quiero estar sin trabajo por mucho tiempo.

Gibt es ein gutes Sprachkursbuch für B1? Ich brauch ein Sprachkursbuch um alleine zu studieren. Ich habe mit "Themen" A1 und A2 studiert, aber jetzt will ich alleine studieren. Damit brauch ich etwas sehr gut. Danke!

Improvement A friend of mine has a theory. Each Language is a mountain and its difficult part is their pike. The pike in German language is at the beginning, cause you can not go ahead if you are not able to conjugate everything correct, or you will see your self speaking like Master Yoda, and it's not good at all. Now, I face the English pike: you have already learnt the rules, but can not avoid making some mistakes. You can aready speak and understand without big problems, but you can not say that you're Fluent and still having some problems in a formal conversation or in a movie, which Characthers speak very fast or in a dialet. My question is: how can you improve you English at this level? Reading and Speaking are enough? What kind of grammar stuff should I look for?

Das Essen: was ich, von meinem Land vermisse Ich bin in Deutschland seit September, und ich bleibe hier für einen Jahr. Natürlich vermisse ich meine Familie, meine Freunde und so weiter, aber jeden Tag vermisse ich DAS ESSEN! =( Das brasilianisches Essen ist mit viel Gewürz gekocht: Salz, Chilli, Zwiebel, Knoblauch, Basilikum und andere Gewürzen, dass ich nicht auf Deutsch sprechen kann. =P Entschuldigung! =) Normalerweise essen die Leute in Brasilien Reis und Bohnen. JEDEN TAG! Wenn nicht jeden Tag, mindesntens 3 oder 4 mal in der Wochen. Wir essen auch viel Rindfleisch, viel Grill und viel Obst (ich nicht, weil ich nicht Obst mag, aber die normalen Leute =)). Damit könnt ihr verstehen warum vermiss ich das Essen: in Deutschland kann ich KEIN Bohne finden. =/
