I've been meeting with Hayoung pretty consistently since 2021... I think it's safe to say I love her and our classes! When I met her for the first time, I had a very difficult time speaking 100% in Korean even for just 5 minutes. 4 years later, we are able to have conversation like friends on just about any topic comfortably in only Korean for the whole one hour session. My improved speaking abilities are entirely thanks to her and her ability to create a comfortable environment where I don't feel embarrassed or ashamed to make mistakes (and trust me I still make many many mistakes now!). Whether you want a more relaxed lesson style with just casual conversation, or a more structured lesson going over vocab and grammar, whatever you want, Hayoung can do. I have already recommended her to all of my friends wanting to learn Korean, and the ones that have worked with her so far can also attest that she is the best teacher ever! :)

I have only had two lessons with Hayoung and I already feel my Korean skills improving! We just completed an hour long session that was conducted almost entirely in Korean! This was the longest I've ever spoken in Korean and it is entirely because of the way that Hayoung teaches. She speaks in a way that is easy to understand and is great at asking interesting questions and guiding the conversation so that it never feels too difficult. I really enjoyed this lesson!
