In every class with Victoria I always learn so much from her! A student can try to study on their own but you miss out on so much when you are with someone who really understands the mechanics of the language and can explain it to you in an easily understood manner. Victoria is a very diligent teacher who puts in a lot of effort to ensure her students make great progress in every lesson.

Vicky is honestly my favorite language teacher I’ve ever had 🧡 I can definitely feel how much effort she puts into our classes and she is very present while I share stories. I also appreciate how many examples she gives me for new grammar/vocab so that I fully understand. In the short amount of time I’ve been taking classes with Vicky, I’ve already noticed so much progress in my Tagalog! ✨

Learning Tagalog with Victoria is always an absolute joy. She custom tailors her lessons to her student's needs and is very open to making changes if you would like to focus on something else. The materials she puts together is fantastic and provides a great mixture of grammar, vocabulary, Filipino culture, and so much more. There is so much to learn and by having Victoria as your teacher you will definitely improve your Tagalog lesson by lesson.

I really appreciate that Vicky goes above and beyond whenever we encounter key concepts that requires a solid understanding of the Tagalog language. She does a wonderful job of breaking grammar concepts down by providing helpful questions we can ask ourselves, translating our own sentences, and giving lots of solid examples. For today's lesson, we even went overtime so that she could finish explaining the usage of fairly complex verbs. Vicky has amazing dedication for her students.

Vicky's lessons are always filled with a lot of joy and challege. Her warm up conversation today was very delightful in asking fun questions such as what kind of food would we be if we had to choose. Since Vicky recognizes I am at an intermediate level of Tagalog she gives me challenging assignments that are advanced enough to make me really think and put in a lot of effort. Every lesson of hers is always making me a better Tagalog speaker.
