Anggun Anggraini

Great lesson with Anggun! We read the story of "Roro Jonggrang". Anggun had me read the story, then she translated it. Anggun picked out the important vocabulary to learn. She also explained some cultural aspects of the story as it relates to Indonesian people, which was very interesting. I enjoy Anggun's approach to using stories for learning!

Talking to Anggun felt like I was talking to my close friends. She's so fun, nice, charismatic and knows how to tailor conversations for me! Completely lost track of time LOL. Cant wait for my next lesson!

Great lesson with Anggun! We talked about the different kind of relationships that people have. Anggun brought a story for us to read about "time and age", which was pretty interesting and I agreed with Anggun's perspective. Anggun is encouraging me to do more speaking in future lessons, which is a good idea and I know that Anggun can help me improve!

Hari ini kita tadi sudah memasak Krengsengang ayam, resep ini punya banyak bawang, sedikit cabe, juga banyak saus kecap manis dan asin, sekarang aku sedang tunggu sampai sudah siap, makasih lagi, aku sangat suka memasak dengan kamu, semua resep enak banget!sampai jumpa!

Great lesson with Anggun! We had some good conversation and I learned a lot of new vocabulary words. Anggun also asked me some interesting questions and I answered with as much of the vocabulary that I know as possible. Anggun had a good idea to focus on speaking more, which is difficult for me at the moment...but very important!

Great lesson with Anggun! We talked about several different things - like videos that Anggun watched recently. It was good for conversation. After that, we read a story that Anggun created about "Marapu". It was interesting to learn about different cultural beliefs. Anggun did a nice job of explaining the things that I didn't understand!
