Anggun Anggraini

Great lesson with Anggun! We read the story of "Roro Jonggrang". Anggun had me read the story, then she translated it. Anggun picked out the important vocabulary to learn. She also explained some cultural aspects of the story as it relates to Indonesian people, which was very interesting. I enjoy Anggun's approach to using stories for learning!

Talking to Anggun felt like I was talking to my close friends. She's so fun, nice, charismatic and knows how to tailor conversations for me! Completely lost track of time LOL. Cant wait for my next lesson!

Great lesson with Anggun! We had some small talk, during which Anggun introduced some new vocabulary words. We also read a news article from Indonesia. Anggun helped to explain what it meant. Anggun has good ideas for discussion topics!

Great lesson with Anggun! We talked about different topics - including height being an advantage/disadvantage in exercise, working multiple jobs and self-talk. Anggun does a great job of introducing new vocabulary and explaining when words have multiple meanings!

Great lesson with Anggun! We talked about driving, personality and actions. We also read an article about the recent train accident in Jakarta. Anggun did a really good job of explaining the new vocabulary and the parts of the article that I didn't understand!
