First lesson with Ryan was great, it felt just like talking to a friend I've known for years. His encouragement was really helpful in making me feel comfortable in speaking Portuguese. I would definately recommend him is a teacher.

Ryan is an incredible teacher. He pays close attention to your needs and tailors plans to your skillset. He's very understanding of different struggles while learning and does his best to make sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire lesson. What I like the most is that he takes his time to write down every word you don't understand and provide definition, examples, and other helpful resources within a google doc. He is always on time and when I was late not only did he wait for me to arrive, but he also still allowed me to partake in the full hour of my lesson which is often not allowed elsewhere. I would recommend Ryan to anyone learning Brazilian Portuguese. We've covered reading, podcast, speaking, listening, and video material in just our 3 lessons so far. Can't wait to continue seeing my progress on this journey !

Ryan is great! Talking to him is always a highlight of my day and motivates me to keep practicing Portuguese. He’s super helpful and easy to get along with! Would recommend!!

i appreciate the patience Ryan has in his lessons. i’m not the easiest to work with because my portuguese is horrible at the moment but he takes the time to correct and inform in a positive way 🤝🏾💯

Excellent teacher who uses creative and various methods to teach Portuguese

Have been really enjoying my classes with Ryan. He always has a new topic to talk about that is relevant and interesting. It really feels like talking with a friend who is very reassuring whenever I make mistakes. I would highly recommend.
