I was a English teacher assistant at a local school in my country for two years and the experience was amazing. My specialization in English included helping students improve their vocab, reading, writing and mostly articulation. I did both, open class sessions and one on one after school classes with students that were mostly struggling with the English language. Every student is different and each requires their own specific approach in lessons. I want to, therefore, ensure that I focus on each student's individual needs and plan their lessons according to what they require most. I am also very patient, therefore, students should not worry about making mistakes because we are here to learn from our mistakes and gain confidence. My classroom is a very relaxed environment with lots of encouragement. My lessons are mainly conversation but spelling and grammar are the center and foundation of each lesson.
