Hi! My name is Khalia and I am 27 years old. I live in Costa Rica. I am a native Spanish speaker, and also speak advanced English. I am an Environmental Engineer. Busco que mis estudiantes se sientan cómodos en mis clases haciendo lecciones dinámicas, para crear una atmósfera en la que se pueda practicar y aprender español. Te puedo brindar clases conversacionales o bien clases preparadas en las que aprendas vocabulario y gramática. Me encanta utilizar música, literatura y contenido visual como herramientas de aprendizaje.
I want my students to feel comfortable in my classes, by making them as dynamic as possible, to create an atmosphere in which they can practice and learn Spanish. I want my classes to be dynamic, by developing different activities to achieve your goals. Having class with Khalia was a great experience! She was kind and made me feel comfortable practicing my Spanish. She was able to answer my questions and explained things thoroughly. I highly recommend her as a teacher!

Khalia´s class helped me a lot! I sent her some questions and practice points I wanted to work on and she planned a personalized class around my needs and answered my questions. She was very prepared and that helped a ton! I'd recommend her classes 100%

Khalia is an amazing Spanish teacher. I have recently moved to a Spanish speaking country and Khalia has really made adjusting to the language easier. I find that she does a really good job in building a great foundation for the language, along with being very friendly and making every class fun.
