Alie was absolutely wonderful. She prepared a lot of material beforehand and was super patient and helpful. I learned a bunch of new things about the Frisian language and culture and had a great time!!!

Alie is a rockstar! She's lovely to deal with, very good at what she does, generous with her time, and eager to help. Alie knows several languages; moreover, Frisians who are fully literate in their native tongue are a rare breed indeed. Rarer still are those who can teach Frisian in a foreign language! (English or Dutch). My goal of getting proficient at Frisian, especially in reading, is realistic now. I'm so glad I found Alie.

I had a trail lesson with Alie. She was great and cheerful and she kept me talking in Dutch for almost the whole time and that was exactly what I wanted.
