My multicultural background (Japan, Brazil, USA) helps students grasp languages through culture, not just textbooks. Let’s make mistakes and progress together! I've been teaching more than 20 years now. As a language teacher, I started teaching Japanese in Brazil in 2014. But I also taught music, English and other materials for kids in Japan, so teaching was always my passion. I started teaching online in 2019, and now I teach every single day. I love to see the students' progress so every level is welcome in my lesson. Recently I started to learn Chinese and French online, too, in order to, of course, improve my language skills but also to understand my students' difficulties. I've been discovering a lot of things by learning languages as a student, and that's helping me to set my mind and to reflect to and to improve my own lesson. Harumi-sensei is very encouraging. I find myself forgetting works and things and it feels bad, but she points out my improvement on the understanding of the whole and it gives me that boost. There is some process being made, even when I struggle to remember little things. I highly recommend her.
