Just had another great Russian lesson with Maria today! She is honestly a brilliant teacher—so helpful, patient, and really good at making the tricky parts of the language easy to understand. We focused a lot on the weather and adjectives today, and I feel like I learned a ton of new stuff. We went over how to describe different days, whether it's humid, rainy, sunny, or windy, and she showed me exactly how to switch between adjectives and adverbs depending on the sentence. We also spent some time on noun genders—masculine, feminine, and neuter—and how adjectives need to match them, which cleared up a lot of confusion for me. On top of that, we covered the seasons and some really practical vocabulary, like how to say you're putting on layers of clothes when it gets cold. Maria always includes useful everyday phrases too, like how to ask her to repeat something formally or informally. I highly recommend her if you're trying to learn Russian, she's fantastic!

Great lesson with Maria! We started with small talk about shopping for groceries and for Christmas gifts. Maria had a presentation ready all about food. We talked about eating habits and about the food we like/don't like. I learned a lot of new vocabulary. Maria does a really nice job updating our shared document with new and useful vocabulary and sentences. She always helps me out when I don't know a word and is easygoing when I make a mistake!

Super lesson with Maria! We started with small talk about the past week. I described another episode "Распорядок дня" of "Новое Простоквашино" that I watched during the week. Maria did a great job of asking questions and smoothly fix my mistakes! Maria is really helping me with my speaking and confidence.

Maria did a great job to respond to different topics I brought up during class and she also noted down in a separate document the grammatical and spoken errors I did. With Maria you can be sure you will get excellent feedback and also have a great companion and counterpart in any discussion.

Just had a very nice conversation practice with Maria. Discussed our recent travelling experiences and cultural differences between countrues. Refreshed vocabulary and improved the flow in the meantime. Will definitely book a lesson again.

Excellent lesson with Maria! We talked about weather, shopping, farmers market and other topics. Maria asked if I had watched anything, and I told her about a funny episode of "Новое Простоквашино" that I saw. Maria did a great job of pointing out several things that I didn't know/understand, such as "матрос" being known for wearing stripes!
