Learning a language is more like riding a bicycle or swimming.
It’s not something to “study” like math or science. You don't need the textbook.
To reach your goals, make many mistakes rather than pursuing perfection.
Focus more on topics we usually talk about than on memorizing vocabs and studying grammar.
In my lessons, you will speak Korean rather than “study” it.
I’m a teacher, but “conversation designer” would be a better word for me.

Learning with John has been such an absolute pleasure. He makes every lesson fun and exciting. This was my very first lesson on iTalki. John is an amazing teacher and we were able to cover a lot of ground in the trial lesson. What stands out to me is that the lessons are very interactive, which makes them fun and easier to recal things. I will be definitively taking more lessons with him. Thank you John!
