Pepe

Pepe is an excellent teacher! He gives clear explanations of grammar and vocab, and really makes you feel at ease and engaged speaking Spanish. I first started taking classes with Pepe when I had been studying Spanish for under two years but had really never practiced speaking. My goal was to feel comfortable speaking Spanish. I feel like I have accomplished that goal in my classes with Pepe. After several months of weekly classes, I visited Mexico City and had a lot of fun and felt confident having conversations with waiters, uber drivers, and all the people that I met.

Pepe is an outstanding Spanish teacher. He has an incredible ability to make every class both productive and genuinely fun. No matter how challenging the material is, he keeps me encouraged and motivated to keep improving. His positive energy, patience, and sense of humor make learning feel natural and enjoyable. I’m gradually growing more confident in my Spanish thanks to his guidance, and I always look forward to our lessons. I highly recommend him to anyone serious about learning Spanish in an engaging and supportive environment. Gracias por hacer que aprender español sea una experiencia tan positiva y motivadora.

I just completed my seventh lesson with Pepe. Learning Spanish can feel overwhelming at times, but Pepe is always attentive to my comfort level and pace of learning. His patience and encouragement keep me motivated to continue learning.

I always finish class with Pepe feeling energized, we never run out of topics to talk about. In our earlier classes we focused more on grammar patterns and verb tenses. The last year or two we are mostly just having conversations. I think Pepe is a very flexible teacher that adjusts to the student’s changing needs and he is a very natural conversation partner even with lower proficiency students. I am planning to continue my practice with Pepe for the years to come and I encourage you to give his class a try :)
