Hilary is an excellent teacher. She is patient and my Spanish improves with each class I have a with her. I would recommend her to any beginner who is starting to learn Spanish.

Lessons with Hilary are very well structured and remind me a lot of taking formal classes in a language school but with much more individual attention and speaking practice. Hilary is super friendly and always very well prepared. She gives great examples during class when explaining grammar concepts and is very patient if things don’t click right away. I especially love that she does the whole lesson in Spanish because it helps me build my listening confidence but also my confidence to ask questions when I don’t quite understand. I really look forward to my lesson each week, and feel motivated to keep practicing afterwards!

Hilary is a great teacher. I tried three other teachers before settling with her. I've had about 30 lessons with Hilary so far and I have no plans to stop. She is very kind and calm, as well as creative as she teaches Spanish. She thinks of several different ways for me to communicate the ideas I am trying to say. My progress has been gratifying to me, and I am enjoying practicing different verb forms during our conversations. She uses a high quality microphone and high quality headphones, and our lessons have been seamless. I highly recommend her as a teacher.
