Hello! I’m Lauri, a passionate and dedicated conversational English tutor with a knack for making learning both lively and engaging. Over the past three years, I’ve had the joy of helping students from diverse backgrounds gain confidence in their English speaking skills. My journey in teaching began after I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Baruch College, where I honed my ability to connect with people and communicate effectively. I try to do a mix of activities in each lesson, focusing on different skills. So I will usually do one exercise on grammar, one exercise on vocabulary, and one or two exercises on a particular business skill like meetings, e-mails, presenting, telephoning, negotiations, small talk, etc. I also talk to you about your work week so I can give you feedback on your sentence structure and pronunciation, and simply to give you some speaking time.Moje materiały dydaktyczne

I had a very good trial lesson with Lauri. She was very friendly and patient. She explained everything clearly and helped me understand new things easily. I felt comfortable speaking with her, and she made the lesson fun and interesting. I really enjoyed the class and I learned a lot. I am excited to continue learning with Lauri!
