My name is Julie, I'm 29 years old and I live in Angers. I was born and raised in Angers, France, but I love to travel. My mother is from French Guiana and I had the chance to discover a lot of countries when I was a child and I try to keep up this way.
I love cooking as well. I especially try to cook dishes that I discovered during my travels. I feel like food is a way to get to know a culture and often has to do with history.
I also love cinema, it’s a passion that my father gave me, and it is now one of my favorite hobby.
I used to play badminton, unfortunately I stopped during Covid 19 as the club closed. But I yet not lost my smash 😉Ja jako nauczyciel
I have a master degree in teaching French as a foreign language. I received my diploma from the university of my city and I have 2 years of teaching experience. I started with conversation lessons with students on campus. Due to the Covid 19 situation, I discovered online teaching and found this opportunity to reach people that far away from me amazing. I gave classes online : grammar, culture, workshops… More recently I lead a French training program for migrants in order to help them to integrate the labor market in France. People who learned with me often say that I’m an incredibly patient teacher. As I’ve been myself in the place of learning a new language I know how difficult it can be. But also how important it is to feel engaged into the learning process. This is why I try to use various pedagogical contents that will entertain you and get you to your goal at the same time. It will be important for me to get to know you so that I can create materials that will fit you. Julie is an excellent teacher for improving my business French and understanding of French in all its forms. Julie is always well prepared, and is a very thoughtful and engaging teacher, finding just the balance of teaching me things, but also practicing with me my conversational French.

This is my second review of Julie. I am SO happy I found her! I enjoy the lessons so much, I look forward to seeing her on my screen each week. I find my brain is buzzing, I feel so invigorated by our lessons, I'm thrilled each time. My confidence continues to increase. I throughly recommend Julie!

If you notice, most of the people who have left a review for Julie have already had multiple lessons with her. There is a reason for that. Julie provides current, lively material during the lesson that gives the session real energy. She takes the time to prepare for you individually and makes such an effort. Julie is a go to teacher.

I scheduled a lesson with Julie to prepare for a job interview in French. She came to the lesson with prepared questions and materials, gave me detailed feedback, and then sent me written feedback afterward. My lesson with Julie left me feeling much more confident and prepared for my actual interview. Thank you!
