Salaam! My name is Simin (pronounced see-meen’). I'm a native Persian (Farsi) speaker from Iran. I am currently living in Germany, where I am in a master's program studying electrical engineering. I love books, mountaineering, learning languages, and seeing the world through the lens of different languages and cultures. I speak English fluently, have reached B1 in German, and have some knowledge of French and Arabic. I also enjoy meditation, yoga, and deep spiritual reflection.Ja jako nauczyciel
Teaching is one of my greatest joys, especially when students get to that "ah-hah!" moment when their understanding suddenly falls into place. I naturally build warm, friendly connections with my students and guide them with personalized support. And I love Persian—it's a beautiful language with a rich literature of great poetry and mysticism. Isn’t it amazing that about 120 million people speak it, roughly the same as German or Japanese? My goal is always to promote the Persian language and its deep literature in an engaging and meaningful way and help my students make functional sentences and speak with confidence, fluency, and joy. My teaching approach is to tailor a program that meets your individual needs. I start by asking, "What do you want to learn?" and "How do you learn best?" From there, I design a custom plan using a variety of materials—poems, dialogues, short films, stories, etc., to match your goals. I have a special passion for classical Persian poetry and enjoy working with students who feel a heartfelt connection to Rumi, Hafez, and Saadi and want to read great literary masterpieces in the original language.
