Experienced English teacher specializing in improving your speaking and confidence Hello, my name is Abbie. I am originally from Brighton in the United Kingdom. However, nowadays I live in Guatemala, Central America. I studied Anthropology at University, so I enjoy meeting and speaking to people from all over the world and learning about their cultures. I have experience in photography and film-making. I enjoy spending time cooking healthy food, with my pets, in my garden, and walking in nature. I also like to improve my Spanish as well as learn about ancient civilisations, science, history, and philosophy. I have over five years of experience teaching English to all levels and all ages. I am fully qualified to teach with a TEFL certificate and have experience with hel I am enthusiastic and passionate about advocating for my students to develop their English skills, which enables them to have more opportunities in their lives. I have the right balance between creating classes, that are both relaxed and dynamic, but also informative, allowing you to fast-track your English learning. I really think that creating a fun environment in which students can learn is important. I am very patient and friendly to my students, as I know from experience that learning a second language is not always easy. I encourage you to choose me as your teacher so that we can start the learning process together in an enjoyable but proactive way.
