Hello everyone! My name is Marcel, I'm from Poland but currently I live in Thessaloniki, where I study Modern Greek Philology and dance in a semi-professional traditional Greek dance group. I've been learning Greek by myself for most of the time, reaching the C2 level in 2024. Since then, I've taught Greek privately, mostly to my friends.Ja jako nauczyciel

I will immediately adjust my approach not only to your goals but also to the level of engagement or the time you have (that also includes homework, I know, yikes!). Whether you want to indulge in Kazantzakis or Kavafis or prefer just getting by while ordering a frappe, we will work something out together!

I have taken a few Greek classes with Marcel, and I can highly recommend him. He's a great choice if you want to learn the language while also getting to know the culture of the country. He's very easy to talk to and creates a relaxed, engaging atmosphere that makes learning enjoyable. You’ll learn a lot—without even realizing it, because it feels like fun :)

Markelos is super easy-going, which makes the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable, yet at the same time very professional and clearly well-equipped with linguistic knowledge. The lesson covered grammar, phonetics and also interesting trivia about Greek culture. Will surely recommend!
