Hi, I am Rachael Alice an English teacher from Los Angeles California. I went to UCLA, and studied Anthropology and Archeology, then I worked in the Corporate World at JCPenney, a major retailer in Los Angeles. After about 5 years, I immigrated to Israel, where I retrained as an English teacher. I worked in the Israeli schools and then I found about the On-line Teaching field. This platform allows for more personal interaction with the student on a one-on-on basis. I have been teaching on-line since 2009 and on this site since 2014Ja jako nauczyciel
I became a teacher in order to help people in the real world be able to speak a new language. I teach English and Hebrew. I know how it feels to be in a new country and not be able to speak your mind. When I came to Israel, I could read a bit of Hebrew but it was very difficult to speak because I was afraid of making mistakes. I am a very open minded teacher and I use many different resources and materials to help my students. Often you will have homework to watch a video or to read a short article and then we can talk about it in class. For Hebrew class, we can do exercises or to read a book in Hebrew or even the Bible in Hebrew. My goal is your goal.
