Lucas DELE

It is always a pleasure talking with Lucas! I think that we have broached every subject imaginable during our many conversations over the last few years. As a teacher, Lucas is patient and strategic in how he deals with student errors. I feel that his feedback has been invaluable in making me a more proficient Spanish speaker. Even though I STILL make many mistakes with the subjunctive, it takes only the slightest prompt from Lucas for me to self-correct. I would unequivocally recommend him to anyone seeking a superb Spanish instructor. That I'm approaching my 300th lesson with him says it all!

I just noticed I've now done more than 100 classes with Lucas. It is a testament to how great a teacher he is, and how easy it is to talk with him. He has definitely brought me out of my shell and I feel a lot more confident in speaking and communicating now. Gracias por aguantarme durante estas clases :)

Lucas is my son’s favorite teacher. He actually chose Lucas himself from the catalog and decided on his own to start learning Spanish from scratch. He has been extremely happy with this choice. He runs to every lesson with genuine excitement, no matter the time. Lucas immediately connected with my son, which makes the lessons feel relaxed and friendly, while still being very productive. I can clearly see the progress he is making. We are very grateful for such a positive learning experience.

Sr. Lucas works with both of our kids age 12 and 14 and has been a huge asset. He is very organized and takes his work seriously and works to differentiate the kind of approach he takes with each child. They are advanced Spanish learners, so we are grateful for the level that he is able to help them continue to advance and grow in reading, writing and speaking.

Helpful, if a bit intimidating

Lucas is a wonderful teacher. He is kind, funny and encouraging. Lucas is always able to explain complex grammar concepts to me and has patience when I am struggling to understand. I love his classes.
