My goal as a teacher is to build a unique set of lessons for each student, based on what their goals are and what outcomes they would like to achieve. I understand that some students are looking for complex lessons on English grammar and parts of speech, others are looking for conversation practices, and some may have a specific goal such as preparing for an IELTS or TOEFL test or applying to a job. Many thanks Matthew for the teaching today! It was really great lesson with professional teacher that added more confident for me and also gave me faith that I can improve my English conversation.
After lesson I received feedback with some corrections and a recording of the correct sentences. I would happily recommend Matthew as an English teacher!

I had my first lesson on Italki with Matthew last night and I found that he is super nice and extremely professional on his teaching field. Not only the common mistakes I usually made were corrected by him but I’m able to see the progress I can make if I keep learning from him which is really inspiring! Thanks Matthew and looking forward learning more from you in our further lesson!

Recommended by my friend, I tried out Matthew's audition lesson. It was very pleasant to communicate with Matthew, and he gave me a lot of affirmation and made me believe that there will be rewards if I continue to study English. Matthew was also very patient and attentive as he took note of any grammatical and wording mistakes I made in the conversation and gave me feedback after the lesson. I would like to recommend this teacher to my friends.

Matthew is a nice teacher~ 🌟🌟🌟 He gave a lot of exciting suggestions for my Spoken English,changing my stereotypes which are not exact~ In the process of the class, we change our thoughts about language learning, it is a really nice time! In fact , I was really nervous about the first class, thanks a lot~ I made it and Matthew understood what I said🎉🎉
