Anna

Anna is a great teacher that I highly recommend. She comes prepared to every lesson with new material to study. She saves all the words and expressions learnt throughout the lesson and sends them to you after the lesson has ended. Anna is particularly patient, helpful and friendly. She knows how to explain foreign concepts and unfamiliar words in a way that is approachable. She also gives lots of examples on how to use new words in context. I would definitely say she is by far the most professional teacher I've ever had. Don't hesitate to book a lesson with her, no matter what your level is.

I've been studying Russian with Anna for three months. Learning languages is my hobby, so I've had plenty of teachers before. Some of them were great, but most of them had questionable teaching styles, and/or were simply unpleasant as people. Anna, however, is absolutely amazing in many ways. She is very attentive and makes sure you understand every aspect of the language, be it grammar or pronunciation. She doesn't just skip parts and "hopes" you'll learn it on your own, leaving you in the dark. She makes sure you get cultural insights also. After all, it shapes the language. This makes it easier to understand, remember, and connect things. She also has a friendly, positive, and cheerful personality. I'm looking forward to every single lesson, because I know it won't be just another dry class. It will be fun, and that helps me stay motivated. A simple conclusion would be: Anna likes what she's doing, and she's doing it exceptionally :)

Me encanta el esfuerzo que hace Anna por sus alumnos. Se agradece, y resulta muy agradable que podamos conversar 1 a 1 sobre temas del día a día, con vocabulario nuevo y 'idioms' típicos del ruso. Me resulta muy entretenido y divertido y creo que la motivación que proyecta Anna es clave para sentir que sigues, como alumn@, un buen aprendizaje.

Anna uses a variety of methods to teach and reinforce the material. She is very personable and fun to study with. It’s not easy sometimes with these platforms to find the person that matches your style and personality, and, more importantly where you want to invest your money. I would wholeheartedly recommend Anna to anyone. If I’m able to grasp this language, I intend to learn with Anna indefinitely.

I’ve had 10+ lessons with Anna so far and it’s been great. Super easy to talk to, relaxed vibe, and the conversation always flows naturally. It doesn’t feel like a typical lesson, which I really like. She always comes prepared and ready, which really shows in how smooth and well-paced the sessions are. I feel more comfortable speaking after each session, and it’s honestly something I look forward to. Would definitely recommend.

Una vez más, Anna me ha continuado ayudando mucho a perder inseguridad al hablar ruso. Hemos hecho ejercicios y me ha ayudado a avanzar en mi libro de texto con gramática y vocabulario, así como técnicas de comparación de imágenes, todo de una manera muy ordenada y pedagógica. Me lo paso super bien en las clases. Agradecida 1000!
