I’ve had 10 lessons with Chika so far and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone, and here are the reasons: - She’s super patient and always corrects your grammar naturally without making you feel stressed or embarrassed. - She speaks both Chinese and English, which helps a lot when you can’t fully express something in Japanese yet. I’ve tried Japanese-only classes before, but personally I found them quite inefficient at my current level. - Lessons are productive. I learn at least 15 new words every class, and she types everything in the chat so it’s easy to review later. - She remembers things you mentioned before and always asks about them at the start of class, which makes the lessons feel really warm and personal. - The conversation-based grammar lessons works wonderfully. Before, I only memorized grammar, but with Chika’s lessons I use them naturally in conversation. I could also actually use grammar from previous lessons in later classes, which really made me feel my progress.

I highly recommend Chika-san as a Japanese conversation teacher. After seven lessons together, I can honestly say that every session has been enjoyable and valuable. One thing I especially appreciate is that she lets me finish my thoughts instead of interrupting me over every mistake. This creates a comfortable environment where I can focus on communicating and building confidence in speaking Japanese. Our conversations are always friendly and interesting, making it easy to stay engaged throughout the lesson. Learning with Chika-san has been a lot of fun, and I look forward to many more lessons with her.

Chika-san is so nice and cheerful, I completely forgot about all my nervousness and started discussing my upcoming trip and compare the language characteristics - time flew so fast. haven't even noticed that the lesson was over before it was over:) Thanks so much, Chika-san for your help, you are absolutely awesome!

Chika is very attentive and considerate. She always listens carefully to my questions, adapt lessons to my pace, and make sure i fully understand before moving on. She has been a great help introducing Japanese to a beginner like me.
